Rope has been selected to represent the traditional Suit of Wands because:
Rope symbolizes Fire, the first of the four elements, which describes new ideas. A variety of Jute, Hemp, Cotton, Nylon, and Polyester Rope are used throughout the suit, along with various bondage and Shibari materials.
The Ace of Rope represents strength, excitement, and desire, the spark needed to ignite new ideas in their most raw and primal form. A bundle of 100% solid braid nylon rope is dyed purple and almost overwhelms the scene with its promise of previously unimagined possibilities. Its strength allows increasingly experimental play, and the soft comfort of nylon is inviting for beginners and exciting for more advanced players.
