Household Stories Grimm Colouring Book

Grimm Fairy Tales were not originally meant for children, they were aimed at adults. The early editions of Nursery and Household Tales contained remarkably dark elements. The stories routinely included sex and violence.

In this free publication, Pallor Publishing has collected and assembled the black and white illustrations associated with the stories, drawn by Walter Crane, so that you can colour in the images yourself, in any way you so desire.

The provided files are PDFs that contain multiple images. Print them off at home and colour them in anytime.

boomDEAD

A collection of twelve Old-Time Radio scripts from the 1930s and 40s, featuring the best of horror, mystery and suspense, but this book isn’t just about the under-celebrated form of entertainment known as the radio drama. It’s also largely about addressing the vastly forgotten potential of the printed page, and exploring what it means for a tangible book to exist in a digital world.

Each story's typography mimics and mocks the feelings of the reader as they make their way through the script. Fun at times and frustrating at others, this book will have you turning and flipping it around as you read through its pages. Bring a mirror.

All proceeds from this project are donated to Old-Time Radio preservation initiatives, such as the Old-Time Radio Researchers (OTRR), which focuses on restoring, preserving, and sharing the classic shows from what is commonly known as the 'Golden Age of Radio' (1930-1960). OTRR is found at: https://www.otrr.org/

boomDEAD is available in Hamilton bookstores as well as on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com in the form of paperback and eBook.
